Introduction to DHL Services:

DHL International Express is a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL, a globally renowned postal and logistics group. DHL's business covers 220 countries and regions worldwide, making it the most internationalized company in the world. DHL International Express is a global express delivery company that provides professional transportation and logistics services. It is one of the largest delivery networks in the world, with nearly 34 sales offices and 44 mail processing centers across five continents. Its transportation network covers over 120000 destinations (major cities) in more than 220 countries and regions worldwide.

Service advantages:

1. The freight rates for underdeveloped countries around the world are much more favorable than those of other international express giants;

2. Most countries have stronger customs clearance capabilities than UPS, FedEx, and TNT;

Compared to UPS and FedEx, the packaging requirements are relatively lower;

4. It has a wide coverage area and owns four airlines.

Service disadvantages:

1.Compared to UPS and FedEx, the service quality is not high

2. There are more remote areas than other express delivery services

Our advantage: DHL is a first level agent for business and has its own billing system. After the goods arrive at our company, a transfer number can be issued immediately, and the next day they will cross the port. Under normal circumstances, they will be transferred on the same day after arriving in Hong Kong, with stable delivery time!

Reference time: 2-7 working days

Service fee:

1.If the weight is less than 1.20kg, it will be calculated based on the initial weight of 0.5kg and the subsequent weight of 0.5kg, and an additional monthly fuel fee will be charged; Within 21kg, there will be a charge per kg, and additional fuel fees will be charged for the current month.

2. Calculate the total weight based on the difference between volumetric weight and actual weight, whichever is greater. The calculation method is: length * width * height/5000

3. Remote area surcharge: Express shipments to remote areas require a remote area surcharge, with a standard of 3.6/kg and a minimum charge of 180RMB per ticket. The remote area surcharge requires an additional fuel surcharge; DHL queries the remote website as: http://remoteareas.dhl.com/jsp/first.jsp The website search may not be 100% accurate, but ultimately the DHL bill will prevail. If the DHL bill shows that remote areas require additional remote fees, our company will automatically charge this remote fee

4. Tariff fees: The specific customs clearance fees shall prevail (generally, the declared value generates higher tariffs. If the declared value is much lower than the actual product value, the customs has the right to estimate and collect tariffs according to the customs requirements). If the recipient refuses to pay the tariffs, the tariffs will be automatically borne by the sender.

Volume and weight limitations:

a. Weight limit: There is no weight limit for the total weight;

b. All qualified international shipments exceeding the following weight or size limits shall be subject to a non-standard shipment surcharge of RMB 200

1、 Any single shipment weighing over 70 kilograms;

2、 Any single shipment that exceeds 120 centimeters in length, width, or height on one side and is not suitable for shipping on standard pallets, or requires the use of pallets with a bottom length exceeding 120 centimeters.

Special note: If there is more than one non-standard shipment in the same batch that meets any one or both of the above conditions, an additional fee will only be charged once for each batch of shipments.

Cargo tracking:

3. Compensation standard: 1. For packages that have purchased insurance, insurance fees and compensation shall be executed in accordance with the insurance service terms.

Unprotected packages will be compensated according to the following terms:

a. For parcels that are missing, out of stock, or damaged: If the recipient receives a parcel that does not match the weight, quantity, or number of parcels, or if the parcel is damaged, please provide feedback on the loss or damage to the destination DHL within 24 hours of receiving the parcel. And within 7 working days, provide us with the recipient's locally registered filing number for DHL to investigate and claim compensation from DHL. After verification by DHL, the maximum compensation is free shipping, and the declared value of the compensation package shall not exceed 100 USD. Partial damage or loss shall be compensated based on the percentage of the actual lost quantity to the total, but the maximum compensation shall not exceed 100 USD.

b. Parcel loss caused by customs inspection: When a parcel passes through customs, customs may open it for inspection, which may result in parcel loss, loss of all or part of the contents of the parcel, or seizure by customs. Our company does not assume any responsibility arising from this.

Return related: For problematic shipments that have already been exported and are stuck at local customs, local customs and government agencies do not allow free abandonment or destruction; If the return is not caused by DHL reasons, DHL will not waive the relevant fees and will not accept special applications; Due to strict requirements from local customs, DHL will return the goods to the shipping warehouse without prior notice.

To avoid the high return shipping cost caused by the inability to clear customs or deliver the goods, the shipper must communicate with the recipient before sending the goods to understand the local import restrictions and determine whether the recipient has the ability to import the goods; And it is necessary to inform the recipient to fully cooperate in handling the import customs clearance matters before arranging the shipment of goods. Otherwise, if the goods are returned or destroyed due to customs clearance and delivery issues upon arrival, all expenses incurred shall be borne by the sender. Meanwhile, hkdhl emphasizes that if the return or destruction of the goods is not caused by dhl's mistake, dhl will not waive any fees or make any compensation, and all costs will be borne by the sender.

Special suggestions: For countries that are difficult to clear customs, such as Brazil, Russia, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Peru, Ukraine, Türkiye, etc., it is recommended to use EMS, big bag and other postal channels.
